Burlington Hydro is Conducting a Survey to Gauge Electrical Safety Awareness in the Community
Burlington Hydro is currently conducting an Electrical Safety Awareness Survey to better understand how our community stays safe around electricity and electrical equipment. The survey is being administered on our behalf by UtilityPULSE, a trusted third party research firm.
Throughout February, UtilityPULSE will be randomly contacting Burlington Hydro customers and members of the public (18 years and older) by phone. Customers and community members may also choose to participate online by clicking this link.
About the Survey
- Takes approximately 5 minutes to complete
- Available by phone or online
- Focuses on important electrical safety topics, including:
- Powerlines
- Tampering with green transformer equipment
- Other electrical hazards
This survey is conducted every two years and helps Burlington Hydro understand:
- Which electrical safety messages are well understood
- Where knowledge gaps exist
- How we can better share safety information across our community
Your Privacy
Participants will not be asked for any identifying or sensitive information, including:
- Phone numbers
- Home addresses
- Credit card or banking information
All responses are confidential and used only for research and safety planning purposes.
