The Power Savings Blitz provides qualifying small businesses with free
electricity
saving products and installation valued up to $1,000. Reducing your business’ electricity
consumption means lower electricity bills and less cash out of pocket.
If you have a small business that meets the eligibility criteria, you
could get up to $1,000 for the following retrofits:
Lighting
- Fluorescent lighting systems (T8 & CFLs)
- LED “EXIT” signs
Electric Water Heating
- Water heater jacket
- Pipe insulation
- Faucet Aerator
Saving Was Never This Easy
Qualifying businesses will receive an electricity usage assessment plus
a recommended list of upgrades to help reduce your business’s
electricity use which will help you save on your electricity bill. Our
licensed electricians will return to install up to $1,000 of the recommended
upgrades as well as any additional items you may decide to purchase. You
are under no obligation to purchase additional energy-efficiency products
to receive the $1,000 of free upgrades.

While you’ll be saving money on your electricity bills, you’ll
also be doing something good for the environment. As you reduce
your energy use, your business is helping to ensure a cleaner environment
for your customers, your community and Ontario.
Am I Really Getting Something for Nothing?
Yes! Electricity conservation is a key objective for the province. You
might be surprised how easily achievable it is. For example, the T12
lighting used in stores and businesses is out-of-date and wastes electricity.
The electricity savings achieved in doing a retrofit to efficient lighting
more than offsets the cost of implementing this program and is why
we’re offering your business these upgrades. It helps you, it
helps us, and it helps the environment.

- Have an account with Burlington Hydro Inc.
- Have demand of less than 50 kW
